SLIMBAND EAGERLY ENTERS THE NEW YEAR WITH A REVAMPED TV ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN

Milton, ON – January 7th 2010

With the overwhelming success of last year’s television campaign, Slimband hopes to increase the recipients of their incredible weight loss program.

Slimband and Creative Bube Tube, a television-advertising agency, have once again joined creative forces to create new commercials for Slimband’s 2010 campaign. The new campaign focuses on six individuals who tell their personal story to the viewers, revealing how much their lives were affected by Slimband. The campaign also features additional content that will be available on the Slimband website to provide more details for anyone interested in their weight loss program.

Slimband worked with the advertising agency last year on their first television campaign and the commercials worked so well that Slimband’s phones were ringing off the hook. Thanks to Creative Bube Tube’s ingenuity, the weight loss clinic can expect even more clientele in 2010.

“We wanted to hit home with overweight individuals out there,” said Assistant Producer Nic Taylor, “we needed to show them that they aren’t alone in their struggles. By having real people tell their story on camera it makes the whole experience relatable to others out there suffering from obesity.”

Creative Bube Tube also had a camera go behind the scenes on set of the Slimband commercial shoot to get the full story from each of the patients speaking on camera. This footage has a more intimate feel, as the patients get ready to go on camera and get their make-up put on. All of these scenes will be accessible on Slimband's website after Creative Bube Tube’s post-production team finishes piecing the footage together. The new commercials will begin to air later this January

If the name John Hauser doesn’t immediately come to mind, don’t worry, it’s not exactly a household name. However, the name can be found in many households, not to mention major airports and famous playgrounds including Disney World and Canada’s Wonderland.
