With Christmas right around the corner, the festive spirit has spread through Creative Bube Tube. The office has been decorated with holiday trim; hot chocolate fills mugs throughout the day; freshly-fallen snow adorns the view of downtown Milton. However, nothing has given the CBT team more Christmas cheer than the recent awards they have won.
This year, Creative Bube Tube ranked in the top 12% among over 1700 submissions from production companies, web developers, advertising agencies, producers, directors, editors, and cameramen for the 2010 International Ava Awards (Audio/Visual Awards). The Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) presents the awards to creative professionals in recognition for outstanding work in the field of audio visual materials and programs. The Creative Bube Tube team submitted 3 projects produced in 2010 and came away with 3 awards!
The television advertising agency won a platinum award in the category of Pro Bono Project for their work with the Canadian Foundation For AIDS Research. Creative Bube Tube won a second platinum award in the category of Commercial Campaigns for their CarProof 2010 television campaign. The company also won a gold award for their own commercial spot “The CEO,” in the category of Television Commercial Production.
The awards stand proudly in the Creative Bube Tube boardroom, a sign of the hard work and dedication the advertising agency puts in every project. The team would like to thank all the clients, cast, and crew members who helped them bring these productions to life and stand out amongst the thousands of competitors who submitted work worldwide. SLIMBAND EAGERLY ENTERS THE NEW YEAR WITH A REVAMPED TV ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN
Milton, ON – January 7th 2010
With the overwhelming success of last year’s television campaign, Slimband hopes to increase the recipients of their incredible weight loss program.
Slimband and Creative Bube Tube, a television-advertising agency, have once again joined creative forces to create new commercials for Slimband’s 2010 campaign. The new campaign focuses on six individuals who tell their personal story to the viewers, revealing how much their lives were affected by Slimband. The campaign also features additional content that will be available on the Slimband website to provide more details for anyone interested in their weight loss program.
Slimband worked with the advertising agency last year on their first television campaign and the commercials worked so well that Slimband’s phones were ringing off the hook. Thanks to Creative Bube Tube’s ingenuity, the weight loss clinic can expect even more clientele in 2010.
“We wanted to hit home with overweight individuals out there,” said Assistant Producer Nic Taylor, “we needed to show them that they aren’t alone in their struggles. By having real people tell their story on camera it makes the whole experience relatable to others out there suffering from obesity.”
Creative Bube Tube also had a camera go behind the scenes on set of the Slimband commercial shoot to get the full story from each of the patients speaking on camera. This footage has a more intimate feel, as the patients get ready to go on camera and get their make-up put on. All of these scenes will be accessible on Slimband's website after Creative Bube Tube’s post-production team finishes piecing the footage together. The new commercials will begin to air later this January
