Canada’s favourite spa hits the airwaves this holiday season to promote their new Refresh Day Spa Gift Card. Joining with the imaginative team at Creative Bube Tube, Ste. Anne’s Spa steps into new territory with their first television commercial, with hopes to reach a wider audience.
The commercial has been pieced together with a series of elegant photos taken at the spa and one word in mind, relaxation. The concept was to create a soothing and relaxing high-end commercial using only pictures to tell the story. The animators and editors at Creative Bube Tube have done just that. “We wanted to make sure this commercial wasn’t like other commercials with just moving pictures and a voice over. We added in animation and some 3D techniques to bring the photos to life and create a high-end commercial,” says Lead Editor Miles Klub.
With Christmas pushing ever closer, holiday promotions are a huge draw for many retailers. With Ste. Anne’s Spa though, their appeal is unique. “The holiday season can be very hectic and stressful and we want everyone know that relief is around the corner at Ste. Anne’s Spa. With the Refresh Day Spa package, anyone can give themselves a relaxing gift they’ve deserved,” says Wanda Hoehn, Director of Sales and Marketing at Ste. Anne’s Spa.
The television advertising agency made the commercial with a combination of relaxing pictures and a soothing voice over to create a sampling of what clients will experience at the spa. This short “escape” is the perfect break from normal commercials and the offer promoted is expected to appeal to anyone, especially those caught up in the hustle and bustle of Christmastime. The commercial and the relief it offers will run until December 25th.
