Creative Bube Tube has signed on to produce half a dozen of fitness for weight loss videos for FITNESS REPUBLIC. Pilates: Fitness for Weightloss DVD is scheduled for release in the early quarter of 2008.

According to practitioners, the central element of Pilates is to create a fusion of mind and body, so that without thinking about it the body will move with economy, grace, and balance; using one's body to the greatest advantage, making the most of its strengths, counteracting its weaknesses, and correcting its imbalances. The goal is to produce an attention-free union of mind and body, the method requires that one constantly pays attention to one's body while doing the movements. Paying attention to movement is so vital that it is more important than any other single aspect of the movements or the method.

Joanna Hughes, who was flown in from NYC, leads a group of beautiful and athletic young women. With her background in dance and ballet, Joanna is both a great performer and an entertainer. The exercises are targeted towards the beginners who are finding a simple way to make them feel good about themselves.

Creative Bube Tube recently produced a series of commercials made for television for ALLMAX NUTRITION, for their new product RAPIDCUTS FEMME. Created and produced by Jenny Munford and her team at Creative Bube Tube in Milton, Ontario, the two spots are running nationally and feature Kelly Taphouse, a real-life user who lost 35 lbs. and went to become the 2007 winner of the Miss Bikini Canada contest.

Creative Bube Tube: Event For Touchstone on Lake Muskoka

On Saturday, August 18th Touchstone on Lake Muskoka was the home of bricks and bouquets as they presented their annual Wine and Cheese by the Lake event.

The day’s festivities were a celebration of the marrying of hand-crafted Canadian cheese and VQA wines. Their celebrated host, Kathy Guidi of the Cheese Education Guild and President of Artisan Cheese Marketing offered tips on serving, savoring and appreciating cheese, and in how to plan your own next wine and cheese party! To compliment this presentation, Henry of Pelham provided some fine wines. As well, artists Don Thur, Jenny Kirkpatrick, and Janet Stahle-Fraser showed off their beautiful Muskoka-inspired artwork. On top of all this, jazz was the note of the day as the background ambience for the afternoon was provided by the always entertaining Mitch Beube Band.

Halton Place Event!

Canadian Country Classic Set for Expansion

Halton Place may be Canada's fastest-growing show jumping venue and is set to add new show jumping features and other new attractions in 2007. Halton Place's premier tournament, the Canadian Country Classic, will host a $75,000 FEI World Cup Qualifier on September 2nd, during the second week of its two-week run.

The Canadian Country Classic has also been awarded the right to host the Eastern Canadian Qualifier for the FEI Children's International Jumping Final. Open to riders 12 to 14 years of age, the winner of this competition will join the winner of the Western Canadian Qualifier to compete in the FEI Children's International Jumping Final in Jalapa, Mexico, December 3rd to 8th. The object of this competition is to give talented child riders the opportunity to experience international competition with support from the international federation. The children's qualifers will be held on August 31st and September 1st.

The Canadian Country Classic's first week, August 22nd to 26th, is geared primarily to "Next Generation" riders, but features an open jumper division and grand prix.

Halton Hills is located close to Georgetown and Milton and within an easy drive from Oakville or Burlington, making it the closest show jumping venue to Greater Toronto Area suburbs. It is also one of the most scenic, overlooking the beautiful Niagara Escarpment.

This year's tournament will also host a classic car show, and beach volleyball and BMX competitions. A contest for young riders will be introduced, in which a $2,000 bursary will be awarded to a rider who submits a video displaying his or her riding talents. The video will be judged on technique, potential and creativity by a panel of celebrity judges.

With youth being one of the themes of this year's tournament, SickKids Foundation will benefit through various special features.
